Tone: Compassionate, Caring, Understanding
Objective: The main goal was to increase the number of people who make monthly donations by 5%. The people most likely to donate are animal lovers who aren’t able to take in more animals at the moment. It was important to show them how caring the non-profit is and how they can help.
Tactic: I decided to make the top half of the about page talk about the mission and values of the client. It reassures the reader that the animal’s well-being is Kensington's top priority. It also informs the reader of how they handle sensitive situations.
Additionally, it mentions how well-known they are, boosting trustworthiness.
The second half of the page focuses on appreciating current donors while also encouraging the reader to help out. The call-to-action at the end puts emphasis on helping the community. This is something that the target audience will be eager to be a part of.
